    Summer Indulgence Day 2019

    Sam's Village 2019 Appeal - Matched Funding is back!

    We have received a truly generous offer of £40,000 of matched funding which will allow us to complete the remaining accommodation blocks and train 100 people next year.     UNESCO partners with AVM

    We are delighted to announce that we have just signed a contract to become implementation partners with UNESCO which is managing part of the Skills and Technical Education Programme (STEP) in Malawi. STEP will be supporting bursaries for the next 18 months to train 150 marginalized people in different vocational skills.     Alex is running the North London Half Marathon for us!

    21 year old Alex Walker has signed up to run the Vitality North London Half Marathon for us on Sunday 20th March!     P4A walk...UPDATE - Change of venue

    The walk will still be on Sunday, 8 February but will now visit Nonsuch Park (NOT Headley Heath). Meet at 11:00 at The Wheatsheaf pub in Ewell for coffee and croissants then on for a 11:30 am start. The cost will be £5 a head for the walk (children under 16 free – a bargain!).     Christmas Cards...now available...

    Earlier this year, we approached Kingston Art College to ask them to design our Christmas cards for 2014.  The students produced professional artwork and 5 wonderful designs were selected.     Malawi Turns 50... update...

    Message of thanks from Heather Palmer; "Hi All Thanks so much for all your help last Friday, it couldn’t have been successful without you all.  We made £776 on the night from ticket sales, bar and raffle, with a further £350 on pre-sold tickets, making £1126.00.  Take off £75.84 spent on drinks and we made a total of £1,050.16 in total!  Amazing for 53 ticket holders plus volunteers."     Paul's mega bike ride...

    One of our fantastic supporters, Paul Alderson from Surbiton, has just completed an amazing 3,500km in The Transcontinental race from London to Istanbul in August. This is a non-stop unsupported race.     Sarah completes 'Around the Coast' cycle trip...

    Sarah Bowen has just completed her ‘around the coast in 80 days’ cycle trip in mid October 2013, an amazing 4,000km, to raise funds for our Training Village in rural Malawi.   So far she has raised an amazing £17,000 which will build a workshop and some trainee accommodation, particularly focused on disability needs.     Christine Burgess running Half Marathon

    2,105km later...Sam and Rob have arrived!

    Having left Surbiton on Saturday 5th September, the boys have cycled 2,105km (1,308 miles) and arrived in Morocco, Africa. Traveling between 90km and 150km a day, they cycled all the way, with only one day off!     Sam Palmer and Rob Tuck cycling over 2000km to Morocco

    In September 2010 Sam and Rob will be cycling all the way to Morocco to raise money for bicycles in Malawi that save lives. Many people in the rural parts of Malawi that we support don't have the means to get to the local clinics to receive the treatment they desparately need.     Stories Success

    Over the weekend we transported people to Malawi and taught them about the lives of children living in Malawi through art, photography, drama, photography, film and personal experiences.    The event was a huge success.     Landirani Live

    Last year we had a private party called September Sparkles which was a birthday party with live music, drumming and general fun, happiness and sparkles.     Tolworth Girls Event

    Last year at this time of year Tolworth Girls' School hosted an event for Landirani, involving local schools, to set a Guinness World Record for the largest footprint made of children's printed footprints.     We've had a number of people running and rowing for us the past few weeks.... Marathon: Brian Heywood ran the London Marathon – April 26th. He completed it in 4hrs40mins. Neil and Paul Cook did the Devises - Westminster canoe race - April 10th - 13th Tom Bower ran in Barcelona Marathon on March 1st and completed it in 3hrs25mins - amazing!
